Rubber double jointed Eggbutt Snaffle.

New for 2023 our rubber Diddy Bits. These are perfect for ponies with sensitive mouths who need a softer material than metal in their mouths. These bits have a stainless steel core and a smooth curved rubber coating with a copper lozenge joining the double joint. The curved mouthpiece follows the natural shape of the mouth and provides a comfortable contact for your pony.

Fixed cheek snaffles are designed so that the mouthpiece does not move independently of the bit rings – they are “fixed” together. This minimises the amount of movement the mouthpiece can have, stabilising it inside the horse’s mouth. A stable bit can have multiple benefits for the horse, including giving confidence to a young or green horse/pony in accepting a contact and helping to improve steering.
